Here at Daffodil Nannies we do not underestimate the importance of childcare. We understand the need for your children’s safety and emotional security.
We work in a way that we carry out face to face interviews ( zoom interviews during COVID-19 ) for all our registered nannies and then we will forward to CV and any relevant documents to the family, at this point your decide if the nanny meets your family requirements, if you do decide you would like to meet the nanny we will arrange an time that work for nanny/family, upon acceptance of a position a fee will be payable to Daffodil Nannies allowing good quality childcare ago become an affordable option.
When we recruit our nannies we place great emphasis on trust, discretion, and commitment to work. At the same time, our nannies promote a healthy attitude to life through energy-filled days of fun, creativity and discipline — each nanny will discuss your aspirations and boundaries right at the start of any employment to ensure they work to ‘your’ curriculum for ‘your’ child.
We are committed to offering you not just a service to place a nanny with you but to follow up this placement for 6 months after the placement has commenced. Family and Nanny will be contacted after 2 weeks, 12 weeks and 6mths.
We also offer very much lower rates compared to most other London nanny agencies.
All nannies will:
- Be DBS checked (more)
- Have 5 years experience
- Have checkable references
- A clean driving licence
- Have legal documents to work in the UK
- Have an up-to-date First Aid certificate (more)
- Be Ofsted registered or willing to become Ofsted registered (more)
- All our registered Nannies are given face to face interviews, we will conduct Zoom, FaceTime or Skype interviews will take place during Covid-19 times.
Types of nannies
Live In
- Accommodation and reasonable living costs will be provided.
- An average working day is 11/12 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- 28 days paid leave per annum (more).
- Two evening babysits included in weekly wage — these are usually agreed between nanny and family.
Live Out
- The nanny will travel to your house on a daily basis at their expense.
- An average working day 10/11 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- Babysitting is paid extra or time is given lieu of hours worked.
- 28 days paid leave per annum (more).
Part-Time Nanny
- Live out.
- Hours agreed by family and nanny.
- Babysitting is extra.
- Nanny holiday entitlement is based on the number of days worked (more).
London Fee’s
- Fees are as follows
- Placement for a full time is £500.
- 4 day a week nanny is £500.
- 3 day a week nanny is £400.
- 2 day or 1 day a week nanny is £200.
- Temporary nanny:
- up to 1 week £40.
- 2 weeks to 3 months £80.
- 3 months to 6 months £100
- All taxes and national insurance are the responsibility of the employer (more info).
